azcentral.com reported Miller’s contract approved by the Arizona Board of Regents Friday, now includes a stipulation that would cause him to forfeit $1 million if he commits a major NCAA violation or is charged criminally, relating to his employment.

Miller sat out a game late in the season when ESPN reported he allegedly spoke with an agent about arranging a $100,000 to insure Ayton signed with the school, a claim he categorically denied and one that has been disputed by several media outlets.

“We felt this is a very positive step going forward as we deal with, quite frankly, a world of speculation, a world of rush to judgment attitude,” Arizona AD David Heeke said.
